CRIES OF A WAR VICTIM
"War is man’s greatest foe and the biggest social evil.
It leaves a negative mental and physical impact on the victims and makes
recuperation difficult. It disturbs the balance and peace of a nation. We must
cease it to create an amicable world and live a calm and mindful life."
Here is a poem which reflects our thoughts on War- A
great threat to life and property.
Cries of a War Victim
She gave birth to a child,
When her husband was lost in the wild.
She couldn’t bear the pain,
As she was lying in the rain.
The road was all red,
With the slain soldiers
bloodshed,
for help she begged.
Everyone was running to save their lives,
Mother, father, sister,
Children and wives.
Terrorists came to her, and asked to
hand over her
child,
didn’t they have emotions?
that they became too wild.
Her eyes were filled with tears,
she was disturbed by
the fears.
Saving her child,
she gave her life.
The child slowly grew,
Everyone’s attention, he drew.
For his country, he wanted to fight,
He knew that he was surely right.
For the nation,
He did a lot,
He died in a war,
But the world forgot him not,
Forgot him not….
These cries made me cryy
